We are very excited to welcome back Chris McKenzie (Coach Mac) to the program!!!.  Coach Mac was a coach with the program as an assistant and head coach for both the junior and senior programs taking the 2017 Senior team to the state tournament.  Coach Mac coached at the collegiate level for D3 Daniel Webster College and D2 Merrimack College.  Mac was a 2-year starting catcher at Dean when it was a junior college then a 2-year starter at Daniel Webster College during his playing days.  Coach Mac will lead the senior team in 2027.

 

Welcome to the home of the Merrimack Post 98 Legion Baseball program. We will try to keep this site updated with the best possible information. In 2026 the program provided 62 players the opportunitiy to play summer baseball!  The program played 78 games, during the months of June, July and two teams played into the first of August qualifying for the state tournamount.  Post 98 Baseball delivers quality baseball at a fraction of the price as other programs.  Players are introduced to MLB rules and given the opportunity to compete at a high level.

You want to play in college

 

 

 

Many high school ballplayers make the mistake of thinking if they aren’t contacted by college coaches during their sophomore year that they have no chance of playing in college. This is simply not true. While there are no guarantees, there’s a lot you can do to increase your chances of playing at the next level. That’s what this website is about: helping you get the facts you need from college baseball players while you are looking for a place to play.

 

  1. Make a list of the schools that are best for you based on your skills, interests, and goals.
  2. Find out what you need to do to play for the schools on your list.
  3. Find ways to let the coaches know that you want to play, and help them get to know who you are.
  4. Meet all the requirements to play, and send in your applications.
